Lily Bloom, despite the difficulties of her childhood, decides to start a new life and moves to Boston. She dreams of having her own business. One day she meets neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid, and strong feelings develop between them. Lily notices in Ryle traits that remind her of her parents' relationship. At the same time, her first love, Atlas Corrigan, reappears in her life. Her relationship with Ryle changes, and Lily realizes that she has to make an incredibly difficult choice that will determine her future. This is the film adaptation of the eponymous bestseller by American author Colleen Hoover.
